Chrnox — Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated: 30 June 2026.

By using Chrnox you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your content

You keep ownership of the timelines and photos you create. When you publish a timeline to the public wall, you grant Chrnox a licence to display and distribute that content within the app to other users. Only publish content you have the right to share.

Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not create, publish, or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, pornographic, or that infringes anyone's rights, and you must not impersonate others or abuse other users. This applies to timeline titles, event text, photos, and your public display name.

We may remove content and suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You can report objectionable content from the wall, and you can block authors so their content no longer appears to you. Reported content may be removed while it is reviewed.

Third-party content

Article summaries and images surfaced via the optional Wikipedia enrichment feature belong to their respective authors and are subject to their own licences (for example, Wikipedia text is licensed under CC BY-SA). Attribution is shown where this content appears.

No warranty; limitation of liability

Chrnox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of data. Keep your own backups using the export feature.
